Mid Summer

We had a great summer this year.  We did a ton of awesome things!

I tried to push a knit-hat/half-buckled train overall look to the masses (I may be a bit ahead of the curve on that one)...

Caleb started out his glasses model skills at like 3 weeks...

I wore sweet tank tops...

I did some junk shopping...

I went to like 5 birthday parties, and am excellent with whatever this is called...

 I started my bowling career...

My dad turned like 100 (too many candles for me to blow out!)...

I can now swing with my sunnies on...

And best of all I hung out with my bro Caleb!

Its a Famini thing

When Caleb was just a month old, we let him know he was destined to be a dance lover like his bro.
He was a bit skeptical at first.

But then the beat caught on and his fingers snapped...

a full-on dance party was inevitable.

As was the crazy dancing, since Lucas was his teacher.  Booyah!

Arkansas is great for making friends.
Well, maybe I don't know all of these kids.

But these two are a couple of my faves - Anna and Larkin.  I got to spend a whole month playing with them when school was out!

Anna has a pool which is pretty awesome.  I would spend a lot of time with her there if I knew how to drive all the way out near the lake by myself - you have to cross the train tracks twice!

My buddy Gavin's mom had a new baby this summer too!  That meant I got to have my first friend sleep over, while his parents were at the hospital.  And my Grandma and Grandpa were here then too!  It was awesome.

He is a little more reserved when you ask to show off your muscles.  Even after Yum Yos, wuuuuut!

Stella is my other bff.

She makes me smile, just a little.

One Clarification

Just wanted to point out that Gramps also played well with Caleb.

GrandNanPop

With Caleb here, the grandparents flocked like bees to a picnic.
Nana brought us a piece of Berkeley.

Pop-pop tried to teach Caleb hop to smile
(he was too little way back then)

And Grandpa showed me how to ham it up for the camera.  Thanks for coming!

Fun with Water

This summer was HOT in the NWA.  Like 95 plus almost every day from June-August.

That meant that Caleb hardly got to go outside!
He did still find his way into some water though.  Sort of fun.

Lots of fun were my swimming lessons!

My dad did throw my face into the wall that one time.

But I got back in 10 minutes later!  I love going underwater.  I don't love to kick very much yet.

Part of the fun was the old school sandblaster showers and getting bundles up like a burrito.

 Water is cool!

Goggles Goggles!

Early Summer

This was a great summer.  AStarted with a little downtown square playing with trucks in sand.

I got to see dogs do the long jump!

It was a little hot though...

Have you guys ever seen fireworks?  We only bought small ones since I dont like big BOOMs

The smoke bombs were sweet though

Lets go BIG next year!
