The Big 1 - CUPCAKE!!

I asked my mom to roll back my sleeves - I heard at daycare that 1st cupcakes were notoriously difficult to wrangle.

I am prepared for the challenge - its not like I'm a little baby any more.

Garcon! I'll take that cupcake right here.

The Big 1 - part 1

Its my birthday!! And I demand blueberry pancakes!

The Papa-razzi is here? I need to find a getaway car to my party...

Halloween

I started off the day in a casual costume - the Converse Sheriff

The Sheriff apprehends a real rascal of a dog!

As night fell, I brought out the big guns - MONSTER FAMINI! The pumpkins were surprisingly nice to touch.

I tried to disguise himself as a crawling bug in the house.

Hmmmmmm. Who can make me feel better about my MONSTER skills?

My mom squeezes me with too much love.

My dad feels more secure which is nice. But a MONSTER doesn't want nice.

Man Day

Lucas talked to his Grandpa Jim and set up a Man day for all of us.

Of course he wore a track suit since it was a day of just chillin with the dudes. Lucas got to check out his 2nd office - Pacific Union!

We surprised cousin Darin for lunch. Everyone who has been to a dentist smiled big in Darin's honor.

A highlight of the day was Lucas's first taste of Union Hotel bread sticks. First taste of many, he told me. Note that on a Man Day it doesn't matter if your hair looks "perfect"

After lunch we did a quick trip to Costco so Lucas could buy him Mom some flowers. He was thrilled. Great Man Day!
