Mothers Day

The Richmond Faminis headed up to Sonoma for Mothers Day brunch.  Right away Lucas made the rounds, talking with Sparrow and his big (male!) cousin Will

The Sanchini girls had some fun on the lawn.  Well, they sat there at least.

Sparrow was much happier in her walker/lunch chair.

Sequoia was much happier rolling around

Lucas was happy enough hangin with some older Famini men

He was even happier wishing his Grandma a Happy Mothers day

And his Great Grandma too.

Altogether a great day.  Hoo-rah!

Morning Monkey

These days, I get to hang out with the little dude before work.  He is usually a little groggy when he first gets up 

Then we spend some time in Lucas's room reading, playing and looking out the window (or posing for the camera, obviously)

Sometimes we make it outside for a stroll in the yard.   A great way to start the day.

6 months!

Whats up people?  I am 6 months old already!

My mom got me some sweet balloons to play with

Mini vacation - the end

Last stop on the mini-vacation was a mini beach visit.  It was already  75 degrees at 11 AM in Carmel!

Lucas was not too impressed

We accidentally stumbled onto a ladybug colony!

And took advantage of the view for one more photo op.  Mini-vacation over =(

Aquarium

Like good tourists on the Monterey peninsula, we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

We even got to see some Penguins

After a while, we had enough of the place.  YAAAAAAAAAAAY.

Lucas loves...

We found out that Lucas loves to do certain things on vacation.

He loves to hang out in a hammock

He likes to take early morning strolls on Highway 1
He likes to pretend he is part of the plant-life
And he likes to pretend he is a statue!

Mini vacation

The Faminis took a mini vacation down to Carmel/Monterey.  First stop was Point Lobos to see some wildlife.  What do we see?

Something waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down there...

Otters!

We also saw some seals.  And some tourists, they're the worst.  Lucas liked all the sights.
